Destinations route map
There are many options available to our students in terms of their future after they leave UTC Oxfordshire. Our destinations route map shows these different options and is designed to help students make decisions about their next steps.
Further and Higher Education
We support our students’ applications to a wide variety of college and university courses in the following ways: talks in school from City of Oxford College, UCAS and Oxford Brookes University; encouraging students to attend information evenings, open days and taster events; interview support and tutorial activities.
Apprenticeships
We support our students’ applications to local and national apprenticeship schemes by signposting opportunities in the following ways: regular careers talks from local industry partners; drop in sessions with local employers; sharing opportunities via our Facebook groups (UTC Oxfordshire Parents Group and UTC Oxfordshire Pioneers); direct emails to students via their school accounts; tutorials on creating a CV and letter of application; newsletters.
If you are a parent or prospective student who would like to join our Facebook group, please search for UTC Oxfordshire Parents Group or UTC Oxfordshire Pioneers and request to join.
A good starting point for an apprenticeship search is the Government website:
