Despite the weather, this month saw a fantastic turn out of over 300 visitors to UTC Oxfordshire, from prospective students and their parents to those looking to talk to employers and take a look at the amazing facilities.

Thames Water apprentices’ visit UTC Oxfordshire

Emma, Apprenticeship Programme Manager (Water) was accompanied by two second-year apprentices Callum and Jacob. Callum works at a waste water treatment works opposite the Kassam stadium in Oxford and is involved with reactive maintenance, while Jacob works on a clean water treatment works beside the Farmoor Reservoir.

UTC Oxfordshire to host immersive Open Event

On Wednesday 28 February, we will be hosting our most extensive Open Event this year.

The school will be open from 4:30 to 7:00pm showcasing the best of the UTC for prospective students, parents, employers and the public.

On Wednesday 21 February, Evelyn Walker and Emily Streets from RWE visited the UTC to provide information on their Apprenticeship Programme (age 16+) and Power Technician Programme (age 18+).

 Applications for September 2018

You can still apply for a place at UTC Oxfordshire in September 2018. For more information, download our 2018-19 prospectus.

To apply for a place in Year 10, apply directly through your local authority and then confirm your application with us by completing our confirmation form. For Year 12, please fill out the application form on our website. We will be in touch shortly afterwards to confirm the next steps of the application process.
