UTC Oxfordshire is looking to appoint a Teacher of PE. The ability to teach a second subject will be advantageous.  The successful candidate will be well organised and demonstrate a willingness to be involved in developing students’ capabilities and the necessary skill set to drive standards to excellence as well as the ability to make real impact on the lives and opportunities of young people.

School Minibus Driver
Contract Type: Part-time / Term-time only (mornings or afternoons)
Hours: 12.5 per week (2.5 hours per day)
Salary: Spine Point 5 – 6 £24,790 to £25,183 FTE (Actual Salary will be £7,260 to £7,375)
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Minibus Driver to join our team and ensure the safe and timely transportation of our students. This is a vital role that supports the daily operations of the school and contributes to the wellbeing and punctuality of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school, trips, and other scheduled activities.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure the minibus is clean, roadworthy, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and any incidents.
- Ensure the wellbeing and safety of all passengers during transit.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and pupils.
- Assist pupils in and out of the vehicle when necessary.
 The successful candidate will need to have:
- A valid UK driving licence with D1 entitlement (desirable); no more than 3 points on the license.
- Previous experience driving a minibus and/or working with children (desirable).
- Previous experience driving large LGV or HGV vehicles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A calm, patient, and responsible attitude.
- Ability to work independently and follow schedules reliably.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
- The willingness to complete MIDAS training (local minibus license)

ABOUT US
The UTC opened in September 2015 in a new state of the art building. This is not only a relatively new school, but a new approach to educating 14-19 year olds; which is possibly the most exciting change in the education landscape in decades. All students at UTC Oxfordshire specialise in either Engineering or Science; at 14 they will also study a rich and balanced curriculum and at Post 16 the curriculum becomes more specialist. At capacity, we will be educating 600 students who will all have a passion for Engineering or Science; it truly is an inspirational environment.Â

Our school hours are 8.30am to 4pm. UTC Oxfordshire is centrally located with excellent transport links close by.Â
