Teacher of Science and Maths - Fixed-Term Maternity Cover

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and driven Teacher who can deliver engaging and effective lessons in both Science and Maths to Key Stage 4 and 5 classes to join our friendly and supportive team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver lessons whilst following the national curriculum in Science and Maths.
  • Be approachable, flexible and adaptable, with a desire to make a difference in our students lives.
  • Possess effective communication and relationship building skills.

Teacher of Engineering / Design and Technology / Product Design

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Engineering, who can teach KS4 and KS5 Engineering to join our University Technical College (UTC). The courses offered are OCR Cambridge National Level 2, GCSE Product Design, A Level Product Design and BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering Level 3.

The UTC opened in September 2015 in a new state of the art building. This is not only a relatively new school, but a new approach to educating 14 to19-year-olds; which is possibly the most exciting change in the education landscape in decades.  All students at UTC Oxfordshire specialise in either Engineering or Science; at 14 they will also study a rich and balanced curriculum and at Post 16 the curriculum becomes more specialist. At capacity, we will be educating 600 students who will all have a passion for Engineering or Science; it truly is an inspirational environment.

This role will provide you with:

Engineering Technician

We are currently looking for an engineering technician to join our team. The role is suitable for a handyman or machinist who would like to be in the workshop. We can offer flexible working within term time.

    Our school hours are 8.30am to 4pm. UTC Oxfordshire is centrally located with excellent transport links close by.
