Year 12 & 13 study (Sixth Form)

APPLY FOR YEAR 12 – September 2024

UTC Oxfordshire’s Sixth Form is different to the standard post-16 experience. In our Sixth Form, we help students develop independence and freedom, supporting and challenging them to learn in a way that prepares them for the world of work.

We offer a varied STEM focused curriculum that allows students to combine A Levels with BTECs in a small learning environment where they are really known by their teachers.

Our Sixth Formers enjoy access to a gym, excellent pastoral care from an experienced team and weekly opportunities to engage with employers, encouraging them to grow and develop into young adults, ready for the next step.

Key Stage 5 programme

Students in Year 12 and 13 (Key Stage 5) can study A Levels alongside BTEC qualifications:

Unique to UTC Oxfordshire’s Sixth Form is:

A SPECIALISED AND VARIED CURRICULUM

We offer a choice of A Levels and BTECs in a wide variety of subjects including a BTEC in applied science, which is only offered by us in Didcot.

WORLD-CLASS EMPLOYER CONNECTIONS

We partner with local employers large and small, and our students benefit from face-to-face learning, project days and work placements.

GENUINE PREPARATION FOR WORK

We have industry-standard equipment and a curriculum carefully designed with key employers to make learning as relevant and transferable to the world of work as possible.

Entry requirements:
To study with us, you will need at least 5 GCSEs grades 5-9, with a 6 in the subjects you want to study at A level.

What will you study with us?
